What??

One of our veterinarians called last night. (when you have so many animals, you sorta need to have more than one vet to call... just in case one is unavailable... and of course there is one for the goats, one for the horses, one for the dogs and cats... etc.)

Anyway, this vet left a voice mail asking if I'd seen the movie Julie and Julia - that movie where the lead decides to cook each of Julia Child's recipes and blog about it? I remember seeing the trailer and thinking it sounded like a really cute movie.

And no, I have not yet seen this movie.

Anyway - our vet went on to say that this movie is just like my life.

!!

I'm not sure what that means? The message DID make both Furry Husband and I laugh...

Maybe I LOOK like Julia?? Well - maybe in the hair a little...

By the way, Furry Husband does a GREAT Julia Child imitation that makes me fall on the floor laughing so... there is that.

And come to think of it, I did always love that Dan Akroyd, Save the Liver skit, on Saturday Night Live where he plays Julia Child and winds up bleeding to death from a cut on the finger....

I'm not really sure what that means, exactly. The movie was super cute. Meryl Streep did an amazing job and really stole the show. Netflix it, fo sho!

alright now, I saw the movie and wonder which character she is referring too. More likely Julie and remembering a hysterical part in the movie where she is failing at a recipe and she is sobbing and thrasing on the floor while husband (sort of used to it)..is mildly not paying any attention. The scene is just memorable and one that I got a royal chuckle out of. Now you better go watch it and clue me in though, not sure how the stubborn independent minded young girl may be similar?? Ahhh...thats it then!!

Heather - yeah, I have no idea what it means either. Something must've reminded him of me in some way?? Dunno if that is good or bad! ha!

DebH - I know - after writing that post I wondered if I was pointing out something bad about myself... who knows! We'll get the movie and see if we can tell...

He called just to ask if you'd seen that movie? I snuck in to see that film (after seeing Up) so missed half the film. Must see it again.

Cheryl - well that and if Spot the goat had come into heat again cuz she was having some "issues" with cystic ovaries... but yeah, he's really funny to call and ask that!
