Sammy's DNA results....

Who knew all this time we had another Setter in the house?
.
No wonder our Gordon Setter and Sammy got along so well... they was kin.
Sammy shows up mostly as English Setter 37-74%...
.
German Shorthair Pointer coming in at 20-36% and 10-19% each of Laborador, Golden Retriever and Rhodesian Ridgeback!
.
Well we were right about the Lab anyway... Sammy must get his big dose o' fierce from the Rhodesian Ridgeback eh?
.
They hunt lions in Africa ya know.... sorry we don't have lions Sam-in-ator... just coyotes, foxes and skunks.

LOL Wow!! A little of this and a little of that makes for good dogs! That is to funny .. WE have a little so Ugly she is cute dog. She is abotu 20lbs and we call her Hobo as she wandered up to our house one day and wouldnt leave. She is the best little dog ever. My Chicken Protector and very smart. She adopted us and one of my girls in particular. She is almost 3 yrs old now and the vet said she is probably wire haired terrier of some sort.. We dont really care what she is she is our dog!Lol

Interesting... did you see similar behavior between he and Booker? Aren't Gordon's and English Setter's pretty closely related?? INTERESTING....

DebH - no huge suprises like chihuahua or pug or anything! heh heh.

Melinda - he's such a good goggie... (yes, goggie)

hez - geez I miss you! We wanted to send something in on him just to see what would come back...

Tonia - I've seen your little Hobo on your blog and she is a-dor-a-ble! That is how we feel about our dogs...we don't care what they are, we love them...was sure fun just to quack on them a bit tho!

Kelley - no - he and Booker were really different! The English Setters are supposed to be the couch potatoes of the 3... (Gordon, Irish, English) Sammy is not really lazy couch potato!
